Frösåkers Brygga – where the Vikings live

Frösåkers Brygga 7, 725 97 Västerås Show on map

Frösåkers Brygga gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about the Viking Age by getting involved in activities such as baking flatbread over an open fire, making ropes and shooting catapults.

”A hobby that got out of control” is how John-Erik Kockum describes Frösåkers brygga, the Viking settlement that he runs with his wife Malin. Here you will find the largest floating boat museum, with over 20 Viking ships and traditional boats. The number of boats is growing continuously. Frösåkers brygga is a highly unique and genuine tourist attraction that entertains and fascinates visitors.

The café here serves homemade cakes and pastries and the Food & Culture Academy Gudagott offers an unusual culinary experience for both corporate and private guests.
